PDF Password Cracker Professional edition allows to search for "owner" and "user" passwords with brute-force and dictionary attacks, effectively optimized for speed (however, don't expect to recover long passwords in a reasonable time with these attacks). In addition, it has Key search attack, which guarantees the decryption (regardless the password length and complexity) of PDF files that use 40-bit encryption (the attack takes about 3-4 days on fast CPU systems).

The standard security provided by PDF consists of two different methods and two different passwords. Alternatively, owner password can be recovered using brute-force or dictionary attacks.

Enhancements for hue, brightness and saturation are as simple as placing a Color Control Point on your image, then adjusting the length of the sliders. 2. Selection Control Point

3. Auto Retouch Brush

To simply achieve more natural-looking results, Auto Retouch Brush lets you remove dust spots on an image using a mouse click and stroke to match the surrounding color and tones. This can also be used to remove facial blemishes, imperfections on flowers, or other unwanted objects within the frame.
4. Shadow/Highlight Adjustments

Using the slider at [Quick Fix], you can adjust shadows by [Shadow Adjust] and blown out highlights by [Highlight Adjust]*. You can also make such adjustments numerically by directly typing a value from 0 to 100 into the textbox.

* [Highlight Adjust] supports RAW images, JPEG and TIFF, but is most effective for RAW images because they store additional highlight information.
5. Workspaces

Difference from internal Windows data protection features

A lot of advanced users believe that Hide Folders 2009 (as well as any other third party folder protection software) is useless because Windows has integrated file and folder lock features.

Well, indeed, you can lock folders with Windows XP/Vista and this folder will be inaccessible by the other (unauthorized) users. But there are some annoying limitations that you should be aware of:

1. Windows allows you to lock files and folders on NTFS volumes only. FAT and FAT32 are not supported.
2. It is impossible to hide folder or file with standard Windows facilities. Only file and folder lock is possible.
3. There is no way to make folder invisible but accessible which is helpful for different security tasks like logging, private data recording, backing up etc.
4. A system administrator can easily get access to the locked folders and files.
5. Windows XP home edition doesn't have a user interface to protect files and folders.
6. There is no files and folders password protection in Windows (except the password you provide during Windows logon) - as soon as an authorized user authenticate himself by logging on, s/he get access to the protected files and folders. If you share your account with the another users then you can't exploit Windows folder protection features.

Protection modes: Hide folder, Lock folder, Hide & Lock folder, Read Only

Hide - When you enable protection, the protected file or folder will not be visible to a user, but it will be possible to access it if you know the path to the object. This may be helpful when you want to hide application folders but allow to run the applications from these folders. E.g. you may hide Hide Folders 2009 application folder so nobody will know about it, but if you type from the command prompt "C:\Program Files\Hide Folders 2009\hf.exe", Hide Folders 2009 will run.


Lock - the protected file or folder will be visible but not accessible. It is similar to built-in protection of Windows NT-based operating systems on NTFS volumes. You can not use this protection method for Windows, System and Hide Folders 2009 application folders.


Hide & Lock - The protected file or folder will not be visible to a user and it will not be possible to access them. You can not use this protection method for Windows, System32 and Hide Folders 2009 application folders.


Read only - You can access the protected files and folders, but you cannot modify them. If you protect folder contents (using asterisk wildcard), you cannot copy files into the folder.


No protection - If you choose this method, your file or folder will remain unprotected.


Trusted processes

After you’ve lived with your PC for a year or so, you’ll probably notice that the performance has dropped off considerably. Without the benefit if an IT department to regularly run the various system tools to optimise your computer, it could slowly grind to a halt. System Mechanic from Iolo has, for a number of years, offered a solution.The software offers a wide number of tools to cover many aspects of basic PC maintenance. These are divided into several main areas down the left-hand side of the window: Dashboard, ActiveCare, Tools and Reports. Each of these options then provides you with a number of options or tools.[LEFT] [/LEFT]

To set things running you need to carry out a scan through the main Dashboard window and two options are available, Basic or Deep. The software suggests a Deep scan would take 7-8 minutes, but this varies very much on your system and we found it was nearly double this. Once a scan has been done, you are presented with a gauge to show you the health of your system and present your options for repair.

The nice thing about System Mechanic is that you can opt for the automatic repair option, or if you want to know exactly what has been identified, you can take the more advanced route and address each individual problem. This degree of control is useful for some of the optimisation tools as you could find that some identified elements form part of another running program, such as some of the Symantec processes for Norton Antivirus, and some of the power management tools from our laptop manufacturer.

ActiveCare allows a number of background system clean-up tools, each of which can be individually enabled or disabled, so you can opt to have these thing run whilst the system is idle, such as a startup optimiser or spyware scanner. Chances are that you’d rather run these tools yourself, but this does give the option for automating the process. The Internet Security option detects your firewall and antivirus software, but the "More Info" button sneakily takes you online to suggest an upgrade to the Pro suite of System Mechanic, which contains these tools as well.

Tools is the area of most interest as this gives you access to each of the different components, from the basic to the more advanced. Power Tools essentially groups them together and presents a combination of tools at a sinlge button press, for example, PC Accelerator. You’ll find that these areas overlap a great deal, so if you are running ActiveCare, you may well have performed all the actions under the Tools menu already, ditto if you have taken a repair option based on your initial scan. However, this does mean you can get to exactly what you want. Direct access to each tool can be found under Individual Tools.

The final Reports category gives you a number of summary reports with additional options to fix or optimise the different areas. A neat History option lets you see what you have done, changes made, as well as a SafetyNet option that allows you to roll back changes should you encounter problems.

Much of the focus seems to be on cleaning up your system and removing clutter, which works very well and is simple to use. Other options of particular appeal include a registry cleaning utility, which will perform a number of tests allowing you remove invalid entries from the registry.

You’ll also find a neat startup optimiser which can allow you to disable particular elements, either things you don’t want automatically starting, or aspects of removed software, but these should be used with caution as it is easy to disable something you actually want.

It is also a shame that the hardware scan option goes no further – like identifying drivers and so on – as one glaring omission from a title of "system mechanic" seems to be the option to find and fix hardware problems or out of date drivers. With that in mind, if you are having regular errors with your hardware configuration then there is a good chance that System Mechanic will do nothing for you.

ProAnimator comes in two forms: as a standalone application and as an After Effects plug-in. Both products act exactly the same, but the plug-in is integrated into Adobe After Effects, so you can do all of your authoring with After Effects. The standalone application doesn't require a host product, so you may generate your animated movies independent of any particular target. You may even import a standalone ProAnimator scene into the ProAnimator plug-in (or vice versa) for added flexibility. ProAnimator includes all of the powerful 3D content creation tools as the 3D Invigorator PRO product. It also contains a next generation animation system that can be used to quickly generate complex animations that would take hours to create in other 3D applications.








Animation Window
ProAnimator includes an advanced animation system that you can use to generate complex animations. The work is done inside of the Animation window. The familiar track interface contains special animation segments called Poses and Transitions. You use Poses to position your objects and text. You use Transitions to tell the animation system how to move the objects from Pose to Pose. Cascading animations are a snap.

The area below the tracks contains the animation controls which are used to position objects in Poses and set animation timing in Transitions. Most of your animation can be done using just a few controls, but other controls exist so that you can create the animation you want.

Integration With After Effects
The ProAnimator plug-in works well with After Effects. You can apply ProAnimator as an Effect and then bring up the ProAnimator interface with a click of a button.

You can either use After Effects 3D cameras and lights or you can use the ProAnimator camera and light controls, offering unprecedented flexibility when integrating Invigorator-style text and objects into your After Effects project.

3D Text Creation
Rather than starting in Adobe Illustrator, you can now jump into the 3D process with a full-featured text editor. The 3D text engine can use Post Script Type 1 and True Type fonts resident on your computer system to directly create 3D models using any of the 100 edge bevels included with the program.

Each letter can have its own font, size, kerning, tracking, baseline shift, horizontal and vertical scale, color, bevel, position and depth. But the most astounding hallmark to this feature is the ability to change the text at any phase of the production process and retain the color, modeling and animation.

This means that after the first version of a promo is created, 50 other versions can be created by simply changing the text. The new 3D text will retain the same coloring, text attributes, 3D beveling, texture map placement and even the animation data. This makes for an unbelievably fast production process when many changes or extra versions are needed.

3D Primitives
Need a spinning globe? Need a video box or a 3D floor? Now one button will get you there. The new primitives engine will create spheres, cubes, planes and cylinders with control over smoothness and size. There is even a control for the shading of the facets so you can create shapes that look like they have been cut from crystal or polished as smooth as a gem.

New Import/Export Format
We have added a new file format for importing and exporting 3D objects... our own! The new Invigorator object format enables you to set up 3D logos, titles and 3D text, color them, apply the materials, maps and object settings, and then save them into files which you can reuse over and over in all your other Invigorator projects. This is a huge time saver for repetitive work.

Motion Blur
Invigorator PRO version 4 now supports 3D Motion Blur. Anything that can be created or imported into the Invigorator PRO can be motion blurred. This includes models made in other programs such as Maya, 3D Studio and LightWave.

Tracking AE's 3D Camera
The plug-in version of ProAnimator has the ability to track, or mimic, what the After Effects camera and lights are doing. This feature enables you to combine AE 3D layer animation with ProAnimator animations. For instance you can set up a project containing AE layers moving in 3D, and then use ProAnimator to add dynamic moving 3D objects right over the top of the moving AE backgrounds!

Layer Map Animation
There is a new control for texture maps that will let you animate the wrap of a texture as it is applied to an object. This feature is especially useful for reflection maps. Once a 3D title comes to rest the reflections stop moving too. This can make the graphic look "dead" and uninteresting. By animating this new parameter the map will continue to move so the graphics will remain alive and visually appealing.

Highlight Mapping
Highlight Mapping, or Specular Mapping as it is sometimes called, is a type of texture mapping that only affects the highlights on an object. Much of the textural feel of a surface is contained in the highlights. The base paint job on an object may be fine, but over the top of the paint job the surface may be worn or dirty, and this type of surface detail isn't seen until you line your eye up with the glare from a light.

Creative uses of highlight mapping include hidden messages like writing on a mirror, streaks, hand prints, scratches, dents and smudges.

Render Farming
Version 4 PRO also supports render farming using the After Effects render engine. Now, multiple computers can be used to render your 3D Invigorator animations in record time.

Wireframe and Hidden Line Rendering
For the visual designer, Version 4 has many new ways to paint the final picture and broaden your options for being visually creative.

Wireframe rendering is that "techno-looking" style where 3D objects are rendered only as the lines that define their shape. This is uniquely appealing because objects look more like drawings rather than big clunky 3D objects.

Hidden line rendering is a special kind of wireframe where you only see the lines that define the visible parts of the objects. In standard wireframe you see all of the lines no matter if they are on the front or the back of the objects. But with hidden line the back lines are hidden and you only see the lines that best show the front side of the object.

Line weight can be set in tenth/pixel increments, are professionally anti-aliased, and even the space between the lines can be filled with a color if desired.

Cartoon Coloring
This one is really fun. It renders the 3D objects as though they were drawn by a poster artist or an animator painting animation cells. Standard 3D rendering paints the objects in continuous tones creating a photo-real look, but Cartoon Color rendering paints the objects in bands of color . The bands block in the color of the highlights, shadows and base, giving you a big bold look with lots of punch!

Absolute Coloring
This kind of rendering is useful when you want a color to be absolutely the same after rendering as it was before. For instance if you are doing a job for a corporate client who demands that their corporate colors be used and that the colors cannot be affected by the lighting or shadows in the 3D scene. This rendering option is also useful to put colored strokes around objects, for doing extremely graphic Pop Art looks, or to make 3D TV screens where the images in the TVs look as though they are lit from within.

Best of all, these new material styles can be mixed and matched within the same 3D scene. For instance you can have a wireframe sphere, casting wireframe shadows, revolving around a cartoon logo with a shadow catcher floor making the 3D scene merge into your 2D background footage! Wow!

There are also two other material styles which are useful when compositing the 3D imagery with other video or background footage.

Matte Coloring
This is a special material option that makes a 3D object act like a mask. When an object with this material is visible it creates a traveling matte. (Prints black in the alpha channel.) This is used to block out objects that you don't want to appear in the final rendering. For instance you can use a placeholder cylinder to create a "3D Mask" that to enable 3D stars to circle around an picture of a bottle.

Shadow Catcher Rendering
You are going to love this one! This enables the shadows from your 3D objects to fall onto the objects in a piece of background video. The way you do this is to build 3D objects that mimic the shape of the objects in the background footage then give those objects the Shadow Catcher material.

New Swatch Handling
Version 4.0 has made significant changes to the way swatches are handled. Swatches are now based on a global library system which keeps the file size down and speeds up the save process. It also means that once a material or object style is saved it is immediately available to use in all other Invigorator plug-ins, which is great for keeping projects consistent and speeding up work.

ProModeler is a standalone application that allows you to create professional-looking 3D models with ease. You have access to all of the features of ProAnimator but without the animation capabilities. You can either generate your images using the high quality Zaxwerks renderer or you can export your 3D models into other 3D packages. For those users not needing the animation tools in ProAnimator, or the integration with After Effects, this product is for you.
3D Text Creation
Rather than starting in Adobe Illustrator, you can now jump into the 3D process with a full-featured text editor. The 3D text engine can use Post Script Type 1 and True Type fonts resident on your computer system to directly create 3D models using any of the 100 edge bevels included with the program.
Each letter can have its own font, size, kerning, tracking, baseline shift, horizontal and vertical scale, color, bevel, position and depth. But the most astounding hallmark to this feature is the ability to change the text at any phase of the production process and retain the color and modeling.

This means that after the first version of the image is created, 50 other versions can be created by simply changing the text. The new 3D text will retain the same coloring, text attributes, 3D beveling, and texture map placement. This makes for an unbelievably fast production process when many changes or extra versions are needed.

3D Primitives
Need a globe? Need a 3D floor? Now one button will get you there. The new primitives engine will create spheres, cubes, planes and cylinders with control over smoothness and size. There is even a control for the shading of the facets so you can create shapes that look like they have been cut from crystal or polished as smooth as a gem.

New Import/Export Format
We have added a new file format for importing and exporting 3D objects... our own! The new Invigorator object format enables you to set up 3D logos, titles and 3D text, color them, apply the materials, maps and object settings, and then save them into files which you can reuse over and over in all your other Invigorator projects. This is a huge time saver for repetitive work.
Edge Styles

Once you have selected an Illustrator file to import, you can select an Edge Style to give your object a particular look. Invigorator ships with dozens of Edge Styles for you to choose from. You can even install your own custom edges.

Once you have selected your Edge Style, you can "split" an edge so the different materials can be applied to different parts of the object, giving you countless opportunties to customize your scene.

Materials
Invigorator materials can be simple or complex. A simple material can just be a flat color. A complex material can be partially transparent, bumpy, and have a shiny surface. The Invigorator ships with several Material Swatches, which are easily accessible from the main Invigorator interface. You can apply your saved Material Swatches to different objects, or you can apply them to portions of a split edge.

Object Styles
As you begin to use the Invigorator, you may find that you'll want to reuse the style of one object on another. Object Styles make this easy. An Object Style is a collection of an Edge Style, Materials, Object Depth, and a few other parameters. You can save the Object Style of any object and apply it to another. You can even use one of the many Object Styles that ship with the Invigorator.

Manipulator Toolbar
Arranging your object in the 3D view is done with the intuitive tools provided by the manipulator toolbar.

You may switch between Camera, Light, and Object mode. Each mode has its own set of tools, which may be selected by clicking on a toolbar icon or by selecting a keyboard shortcut.

Lights
Invigorator scenes may have multiple lights, each with their own color, intensity, etc. The lights may also cast shadows, adding realism to your images and movies.

The Invigorator ships with several light presets and Light Styles, so you may start with one of the presets or you may create your own.
